📖 About This Campground
Crystal Springs Campground in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park offers 36 single sites and 14 group sites available for both reservations (group sites only) and first come first served camping (regular sites). Open seasonally the campground is located in the Grant Grove area.
Situated in a mixed conifer forest of sugar pines, incense cedar, fir and sequoia trees. Summer days can be warm and dry with cool nights. Wildlife is abundant and includes black bear, mule deer, gray squirrel, golden-mantled ground squirrel, and a variety of resident birds, among many others. This is the nicest of this areas campgrounds with sites situated along a hillside and tucked in to the trees. The campground is also on the same side of the road as the Grant Grove Village area allowing guests to walk a trail straight to the facilities without crossing the busy highway.
Group sites are for tent only camping while the individual sites can accommodate small RVs (sites are reasonably large in some cases). Restrooms with running water are available as are water spigots throughout the grounds. Each site has a picnic tables, fire ring and bear box.
