Great campsites convenient to the Hatteras-Okracoke Ferry. Back in to the canal or pull thru the center. 30/50 amp service with full hookups and cable. Swimming pool was clean and refreshing. Bath houses were very clean with ample counter space for toiletry bags, etc. Store on site offered some items you may have missed. Fish cleaning station and canoe/kayak launch within the campground. Close to local restaurants and shopping. They offer cabins and a couple of mobile homes if your traveling with family that need accommodations outside of an RV. Pet friendly, but could use a small dog park. Sites are paved with grass areas around the RV. Will stay here again and highly recommend.

Hatteras Sands Resort in Hatteras North Carolina provides full hookup RV and tent camping in an open setting with paved roads and sites. Under new ownership the park is undergoing significant improvements to the property and amenities. Walking distance to the ocean, fishing charters, marina, and ferry to Ocracoke. Located along canals leading to the Sound there is a kayak launch. Back-in and pull thru sites available along with quaint cabins and a single wide mobile home for short term rent.
