Lake Camanche Recreation Area Campgrounds and RV Parks

Lake Camanche Recreation Area Campgrounds and RV Parks in Ione California is a large publicly owned property situated along the Western Slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Ample tent and RV camping sites are available year-round at both the North Shore and South Shore access areas. Long & Short Term Camping: Two recently renovated, full-service RV parks are located at South Shore featuring full hook-ups including 30 and 50 amp electrical service. The Monument RV Park has 99 sites near two fishing ponds and the lake; this is a very nice RV park. Fully paved roads and parking pads with good spacing between sites and plenty of room for any sized RV. Miners Camp RV Park has sites that can be rented for up to 14 days or six months and is a short walk away from basketball, volleyball and tennis courts. There are no fire rings available inside Miner’s Camp. This RV park is situated on a hillside and has a few sites with majestic views overlooking the lake and property. All RV’s staying within Monument and Miner’s Camp must be self-contained. Self-contained RV’s may also camp at North Shore. Showers and laundry facilities are located nearby to all the campground facilities in the property. In addition to the full hookup RV campgrounds Camanche Recreations Area has multiple primitive, no hookup, tent and RV camp sites dispersed in both locations along the lakeshore. Finally the property does have cabins and a hotel available for guests.
