Longs Peak Campground — Virtual Tour

Longs Peak Campground in Rocky Mountain National Park Colorado located approximately nine miles south of the town of Estes Park on Route 7 has 26 tent only sites. Open seasonally this first come first served popular campground provides the most intimate camping experience accessible via vehicle in the park. Most of the tent sites have excellent privacy tucked into the thick forest. A very small campground parking for more than one vehicle can be tough and there is no real overflow parking available. A self service kiosk is available. The trailhead to Longs Peak is close by along with the Longs Peak Ranger station. The road up to this campground is steep and winding. Campsites include bear boxes, picnic tables and fire rings. Vault toilets are located in a couple areas. A fresh water fill is available by the first one as you enter the campground. Paved roads and dirt sites.
