1. Campground Operations and Reservations

For the 2025 season, Jenny Lake Campground is open from July 1 to September 28. The campground features 51 individual campsites, including three ADA-compliant sites, and 10 hiker-bicycler sites. Each site accommodates up to two small to medium-sized tents, one vehicle (maximum 14 feet in length and 8 feet in height), and six guests.


2. Navigating Road Conditions and Access Routes

Access to Jenny Lake Campground is via Teton Park Road, approximately 8 miles north of the town of Jackson, WY. The campground is situated within walking distance of the eastern shore of Jenny Lake, offering easy access to the Jenny Lake Visitor Center, Jenny Lake Store, and various trailheads. Please note that the Jenny Lake Boat Launch is closed for construction for the 2025 season.


3. Optimal Times to Visit

The most favorable times to camp are during July and August, offering mild temperatures and full access to park amenities. Early September can be less crowded but may bring cooler temperatures and unpredictable weather. Be prepared for variable conditions, and always pack layers to stay comfortable.


4. Amenities and Nearby Services

While the campground provides basic amenities, additional services are available within the Jenny Lake area, including:

  • Jenny Lake Store: Offers firewood, ice, clothing, souvenirs, and snacks.

  • Flush toilets and potable water are available within the campground.

  • Two token-operated showers are located nearby.

Please note that there is no WiFi/internet service at Jenny Lake Campground. The closest public wireless internet access is at the Craig Thomas Discovery & Visitor Center in Moose. Cellular coverage varies and may be available depending on location within the campground and service provider.
